Succession and Development Planning

This course teaches business owners and managers how to create development plans and succession plans that help to motivate different types of workers and to plan for attrition (both positive and negative) allowing business leaders to be proactive to staffing changes instead of reactive. The focus is on creating a meaningful work environment for employees from multiple generations by understanding the characteristics of each generation in the workforce today. This class is in process of being certified for CE credits and I-Car Alliance points. Upon completion of this course participants will understand how to create and implement succession plans and development plans for their staff in order to increase employee retention and satisfaction as well as creating a proactive staffing plan in writing.

    Paul Gage is the President of Pro Collision Training, LLC. and a 27 year industry veteran known for his expertise in instructional design, staff development, and technical knowledge of collision repair. As the former Director of Transportation Services at FTCC, and a former board member of the Collision Repair Education Foundation, Paul is still working diligently to move the automotive industry forward by recruiting, training, and placing both military and civilian candidates into positions with great companies in both the automotive and heavy truck fields. Paul is currently a member of CIC, NABC, and SCRS as well as being an I-CAR instructor and industry advocate. Paul lives in New Braunfels, Texas with his wife, Fran, and two children.
