Sustainable sourcing – at the beginning of the chain

Panel discussion
A panel discussion that will feature the highly fragmented sourcing market: The fashion and textile industry is one of the most globalised and at the same time resource intensive and polluting industries. In order to make supply chains more transparent and to hold companies liable for their supplier’s human rights or environmental frauds, the European Union and Germany are trying to put supply chain laws into action. At the same time, the Covid-19 crisis has shown how vulnerable global supply chains are. Thus, sustainable sourcing has become more crucial than ever before, for the fashion industry to recover after the crisis and to create a more sustainable future for the textile and fashion industry.
