Hongbo Sun
Senior Application Manager
Hongbo Sun joined AVL List GmbH in 2018 where he is currently a Senior Application Manager. He is responsible for E-Motor and HV Test Systems in the areas of performance, durability, NVH, EMC, and safety. As AVL’s subject matter expert on Electrification E-Drive, including E-Motors and Inverters, he consults on integration test, development, and complex electrification lab projects. Prior to joining AVL, he worked as an electrification lab planner at a premium German OEM and before that as a test engineer at a German Tier 1 supplier for 10 years.
