Frank Rehme has over 40 years of professional experience and through his unusual career path via mining, engineering, information technologies and SAP found his way to his current profession, innovation in retail and the purchasing scenarios of tomorrow.
As a long-standing innovation manager of a DAX30 retail group, he has set national and international standards in the retail environment - including the first eCommerce scenarios in Germany in the Future Store Initiative and the 1st pick-up concept in Germany, the real,- DRIVE. Since 2013 he is founder and shareholder of gmvteam GmbH and supports new commerce initiatives of retail and industry. His passion is the development of new business models with a consistent user focus.
Frank Rehme initiated the European lighthouse project for retail innovations: The Future City Langenfeld as a model city for the innovative future of retail and the inner city experience. The Future City brings together all innovation projects in the field of retail and urban development. The first sub-projects were launched in 2016.
He is also co-founder and author of the information service

As part of the SME Digital Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Frank Rehme has been Managing Director of the SME 4.0 Competence Center since 2019, which provides individual information and practical support, especially to small and medium-sized retailers and companies, on ways to digitize.
As a coach and trainer, he accompanies teams in the analysis of the company, the extended industry environment, develops company-specific trend reports, supports the development of ideas and concepts as well as their practical implementation.
In addition, Frank Rehme is an internationally sought-after speaker and workshop participant on a range of innovation and trend topics.
