Boris Hedde has been Managing Director of IFH Cologne since the end of 2009. His daily work focuses on market- and customer-oriented evaluation as well as practice-oriented conception and transformation in the fields of retail in the digital age and (municipal) structural change. Boris Hedde is involved as a member of the digitalization committee of the association of medium-sized businesses ZGV, is jury chairman of the funding initiative "Thinking digital and stationary retail together" of the Ministry of Economics NRW, was in charge of the project Dialogue Platform Retail of the Federal Ministry of Economics, founded VITAIL -the competence forum for retail and vital city centers, is one of the founders of coadvise, the cooperative of independent digital consultants and also served with the IFH Cologne the initiative Agency Retail 4.0 to promote digitalization in medium-sized businesses. Prior to that, Boris Hedde worked in practice-based market research for almost 10 years. Until 2007, he worked for the company Sport+Markt AG (now Nielsen Sports). After assignments in the USA and Brazil, he was most recently responsible for business in the Swiss market. He then moved to the international research provider YouGov, where he worked as Senior Project Manager Branding in the areas of brand, marketing and communication. Boris Hedde holds a degree in sports science with a focus on economics as well as being a specialist in advertising. In his spare time, the father of two is an enthusiastic supporter of 1. FC Köln.
