Ms. Lelise Neme is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) of Ethiopia since 2018. IPDC is a public enterprise mandated with the development of the National Industrial Parks intending to achieve the development plan of the country. Lelise oversights more than 12 industrial Parks in the country where five are operational currently with a portfolio of USD 1.3Bill (40 bill birr) and manages over 700 staff at IPDC HQ and branch offices in different regions of the country. </span> Lelise is the member of the Executive Committee of the Oromia Democratic Party (ODP). She had served as General Director at the office of Oromia Industrial Development Agency and as Deputy CEO at the Oromia Industrial Park Development Corporation. Before her current career in the regional and Federal Government at a higher-level position, she was a Lecturer in one of the top Universities in Ethiopia, Jimma University - Institute of Technology, School of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Lelise has proven the capacity and skills of leadership and she participated actively in academic and non-academic activities in her university life. She served as a president of female student association of Jimma University and she was a member of various students’ organization in the university. She also participated in humanitarian activities to support the communities that the University was over sighting. Academically, Ms. Lelise holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with specialization on leadership.
