Ilse Henne
CTO
At thyssenkrupp, Ilse Henne began her career in 1999 at thyssenkrupp Christon in Belgium as Sales Manager before becoming Managing Director in 2002. From 2012 to 2016 she was CEO of the Materials Western Europe/Asia Pacific operating unit, focusing on its strategic alignment. As CEO of thyssenkrupp Schulte and the Materials Germany operating unit Ilse Henne has been in charge of the German materials distribution business since 2016. In July 2018 she also assumed the position of CEO of the Materials Western Europe/Asia Pacific operating unit again. Ilse Henne has been member of the Management Board of the business segment Materials Services and member of the Management Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH since January 1, 2019.
In her function as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), Ilse Henne is shaping the transformation of the business of thyssenkrupp Materials Services. She is responsible for implementing the "Materials as a Service" strategy, which systematically links the traditional distribution business with the service business. The Belgian stands for diversity and openness, both on a human and process level. She sees forward-looking diversity management as a strategic success factor in the competition for customers, markets and bright minds.
