Dr.-Ing. Michael Benz
Managing Partner of Benz + Walter GmbH, Program Director of "International Logistics and Supply Chain Management", International School of Management
Dr.-Ing. Michael Benz is an industrial engineer and received his doctorate in 1999 from Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Baumgarten at the TU Berlin. After working for IBM Business Consulting Services and Teradata GmbH, he has been Managing Partner of Benz + Walter GmbH, Wiesbaden, since January 2017. His expertise lies in the area of Big Data Analytics as well as Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Mobility.
He has been active in the field of logistics with a focus on process management and strategy for over 25 years and is the author of numerous specialist publications. As Professor for Logistics and Operations at the International School of Management (ISM) in Frankfurt, he is responsible for leading the English-language Master's program "International Logistics and Supply Chain Management". Since 2015, he has also headed the Institute "SCM@ISM" - Supply Chain Management, Cluster and Mobility Management, founded by Benz and Walter, together with Prof. Dr. Böckenholt.
