Heimtextil Trendscouting by AIT is a special distinction for experts by experts. In the run-up to Heimtextil, readers of the renowned architecture magazine AIT can apply to become a trend scout. From the interior designers, architects, planners and hotel experts, AIT-Dialog chooses around 50 to 70 trend scouts to spend the first day of the trade fair seeking out new generations of innovative products, textile room dividing concepts or sun protection systems, wall coverings, wallpaper or furniture. The scouts record their product highlights. From these nominations, clear trends and innovations emerge, which are listed as a ranking. Following the jury meeting, the Heimtextil Trendscouting by AIT winner and special mentions are announced as part of the award ceremony on the second evening of the trade fair.
