Join the NOVUM project experts in a virtual roundtable to discuss the latest results on development of cellulose based 3D printable materials and how to process them. The 90 minute meeting will include several expert lectures on material and process development by experts from VTT Technical research centre of Finland and Brinter.
NOVUM project develops 3D printable materials from sustainably sourced cellulose for several industrial application areas such as electrical insulation, marine technology and automotive industry. During this roundtable you have a possibility to discuss with experts about the chemical modification of cellulose to give it thermoplastic properties and how the processing methods such as printing can be adjusted for optimal performance.
Roundtable will have presentations about
- General project introduction (Heli Kangas)
- Cellulose based 3D printing materials developed in NOVUM (Jarmo Ropponen/Kirsi Immonen)
- Additive manufacturing process development for cellulose based 3D printing materials (Tomi Kalpio/Sini MetsäKortelainen)
- Process development of 3D printing of foam (Prakash Baranivignesh)
