Language: ENG

Royal Haskoning DHV

Waleed Nasir, Market Development Manager - Sustainability, DSM Additive Manufacturing and Bart-Jan van der Gaag, Digital Engineer, Royal Haskoning DHV will talk about circular bridges as an example toward a sustainable additive manufacturing industry.

With circularity quickly moving from a nice-to-have to a qualifier in various industries, the additive manufacturing community needs to put sustainability at the top of their agenda.

DSM is taking an application-focused, partnership-focused approach as we work to offer manufacturing more materials for 3D printing market. In collaboration with Royal HaskoningDHV, we are on our way to 3D print a freestanding composite footbridge in the City of Rotterdam.

This project is a great depiction of our sustainability journey where commercial viability is a key means to ensure meaningful impact. Enabling us to do well by doing good
