Laura Luchtman is
founder of Kukka, a textile & surface design studio in Rotterdam and
co-founder of Living Colour, an innovative biodesign research project exploring
the possibilities of textile dyeing with bacterial pigments. With over 10 years
of experience in designing collections for well-known high street fashion
brands, she experienced first hand why the fashion system needs to change. As a
participating designer in The Future of Living Materials, her work is committed
to bridging the gap between design and science.
