Wouter Wiels, studied Communication at university in Ghent, Belgium. His various experiences in the fashion, luxury and design sectors have given him a career path that is anything but classic.
It is no coincidence that this cross-fertilized and transdisciplinary approach has become his passion and asset, perfectly reflecting his dynamism and 360° vision in terms of communication strategy, events, product development and design.
For the Beyond Beauty trade show, he initiated and led the development of a "new generation" forum of trends and creativity, the Beyond Beauty LAB.
The exhibitions "Strictly Confidential" in 2005, "BEAUdiversiTY" in 2006 and "Time is ... Beauty" in 2007 revealed several creative scenarios for the following years.
Today, apart from consulting missions, he is mainly involved in the creation and development of a Parisian event dedicated to beauty and perfumes.
Since September 2009, "Rives de la Beauté" has enabled the various protagonists of beauty (brands, department stores, prestigious boutiques, suppliers, photographers, designers...) to express their visions of a modern and responsible beauty.
Originally, the event "Rives de la Beauté" is comparable to what happens in the field of design (the Design Week in Milan, Paris Design Week) and in the field of art ("la Nuit Blanche" in Paris, "La Biennale de Venise"). But through its independence, its transversal approach, and its focus on beauty, perfumery and well-being, "Rives de la Beauté" is a unique and original initiative in the world.
