Managing Director of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires and La Biennale Paris since March 2017, François BELFORT has led a diversified career path between private and public, consisting of three stages, live performance, events and cultural institutions.
Director of production at the Centre Pompidou from 2000 to 2004, then a member of the cabinet of ministers between 2007 and 2007, with Jean-Jacques Aillagon and Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres, he became director of events and demonstrations at the Grand Palais in 2007, where he led the reopening of the nave, its programming and marketing until 2010, when he became one of the general directors of the Foundation for the Safeguarding and Development of the Domaine de Chantilly.
In 2013, François Belfort was appointed Managing Director of the Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris, giving it a multidisciplinary dimension with numerous cultural and gastronomic events that established its reputation and commercial launch with 1.4 million visitors.
In 2016, he created PEGASUS Conseil to carry out expertise and consulting missions in the cultural field.
Knight of the National Order of Merit and Arts and Letters, François BELFORT is also the winner of the "Event Personality of the Year" Heavent in 2014 in Cannes.
