Steven Leprizé

"Ancestors" created this activity before him; his approach is linked to a family history: a grandfather carpenter, a great-grandfather carpenter and a father mechanic restorer of machine tools. In 2009, he created the company ARCA (Atelier de recherche et de création en ameublement), and in the same year obtained the "Jeunes Talents" prize awarded by the Ateliers d'art de France. The young Breton cabinetmaker, and laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire in 2016, wins the “2017 Talents d'exception” award from the BETTENCOURT SCHUELLER Foundation with a work that reinvents one of the oldest materials in the world, wood, to which he gives unprecedented properties of flexibility and elasticity. A small miracle of innovation.
