Bernard Philipp Alowonou

Bernard Philipp Alowonou is Vice President of Global Business Management New Business Areas at Lenzing AG.
In his current role, Bernard is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s strategy for Industrial Applications and establishing new business models along the value chain in the industry.
He also oversees the establishment of LENZING™ brand for Industrial Applications under Lenzing’s new brand architecture.

With over 14 years of experience in business development and project management, Bernard brings with him strong leadership in growing the company’s business as well as product portfolio management.  
Bernard first joined Lenzing in 2015 as Vice President of Global Controlling, during which he managed the operative and strategic planning, forecast as well as reporting for the company.
Prior to joining Lenzing, he was a Senior Project Manager at Stern Stewart where he provided strategic business consultation to clients in the technology, healthcare, aviation and market research sectors.
He started his career and held various controlling / finance management positions at Daimler AG, in the automotive industry.  
Bernard holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Management from the State University Stuttgart and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth
