SusFil: Sustainable Filtration - Filtration behavior of CNT-functionalized melt blown filter media
The presentation will summarize the results of the BMBF joint project SusFil (Sustainable Filtration).
Main goal was the development of multifunctional nonwoven layers to be used in air filter elements and energetic optimization of the compressed air cleaning process.
Filament nonwoven fabrics to be used in pre-filtration and fine fiber nonwoven fabrics (meltblown) for fine filtration were developed as filter media.
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were used to functionalize the filter layers.
