The Service Oriented Architecture real-time control Initiative (SOArc)
With the OPC UA Client/Server pattern, SOA-enabling Methods are supported. However, deterministic real-time communication is only possible with the OPC UA Publisher/Subscriber pattern, which to date does not support Methods. The VDMA SOArc initiative tries to solve this deficit.
