is the initiator and project leader of the ECVAET project series for the
event technology. He works as scientific researchers and entrepreneur at the
interface between professional education and higher education since many years.
Since 2007 he is involved in the development of distance learning courses for
professional training in the event technology. In 2013 he was awarded with the
national "Lifelong Learning Award" for his achievements in
educational research within the European context. His research interests
include formal, non-formal and informal aspects of learning, multimedia-based
and collaborative learning, learning process management and learning analytics.
