Isabelle Riedelbauch is the Project Manager for Sales & Supply Chain Management at the Aid by Trade Foundation, the parent organisation of the Cotton made in Africa Initiative. Riedelbauch studied business management in Koblenz and South Africa and has a master of science degree in textile technology and textile management from Hochschule Reutlingen. After completing her studies, she worked in vendor sustainability (social sustainability) at HUGO BOSS and as Corporate Responsibility Specialist at Aldi International. Since 2018, Riedelbauch has worked for the Aid by Trade Foundation and its Cotton made in Africa Initiative, which enhances the quality of life of cotton farmers in Africa by introducing efficient and eco-friendly cultivation methods with the support of textile companies and brands around the world. Riedelbauch has a special passion for sustainable consumption and global value chains.
