Lectures AIT-Dialog: Identity
Lecture in German
Welcome and introduction by Ms Kristina Bacht
In times of an increasingly flexible society and nomadic living and working models, the need for individuality is becoming ever greater. Hotels in particular, as places of temporary living, should take advantage of the opportunities that this change entails. Identity — whether in the sense of a connection with the location or on a conceptual level — is an essential success factor for the hotel industry. In the AIT-Dialog Forum, we examine visionary hotel concepts, trends such as micro living and temporary living in the form of residences, apartment hotels, and serviced apartments. Successful hotel design combines individual furnishings with a sense of home. Today's hotel guests expect an accommodation that is as stylish as it is functional, where they not only stay overnight but also feel comfortable. Last but not least, colours and materials ensure the right ambience. This theme day centres around the question: What makes hospitality concepts unique and authentic? And what are the decisive feel-good factors in the hospitality sector?
