Wolfgang Inninger has been a researcher at Fraunhofer IML since 2003. Since 2008 he has been managing the project center Transport, Mobility and Environment in Prien am Chiemsee. He dealt mainly with research on transport, with regard to the use of new technologies and the development of mobility concepts. He also developed various ideas for the use of new positioning technologies in close collaboration with business partners. Mr. Inninger is currently working in various studies and concepts to network mobility and the impact of the trend towards digitalization and automation in traffic. This also involves the networking of new or alternative mobility options with existing public and private transport facilities.
Fraunhofer Mobility Infusion: New Mobility - Where we are and where we are heading to
New mobility is connected and marked by digital applications. This significantly changes our current mobility and shapes the mobility behavior of future generations. Against this background, the question arises to what extent mobility behavior has already changed in the past, which trends can be derived and how municipalities, mobility service providers and research and development are affected.
