He is interested in everything digital and in the intersection of technology, the sciences and society – where new knowledge causes friction and creates progress. He was trained at German School of Journalism (Deutschen Journalistenschule, DJS) and studied in Munich and Stockholm. He was part of the team at new-founded popular science magazin ZEIT Wissen before working as a science editor at Spiegel Online. In 2009 he joined DIE ZEIT and is working at Wissen since.
