Sebastian Pretzsch studied computer science at the Technical University of Dresden
with a focus on distributed systems. Since 2012 he has been working at the
Fraunhofer Institute for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems IVI, where he is
head of the research group Mobility and Travel Assistance that carries out intensive
research and development on mobility solutions of the future and their support by IT
systems. Mr. Pretzsch has led several R&D projects on platforms for mobility data
and services and innovative multimodal travel assistance systems.
Fraunhofer Mobility Infusion: It's all about data - On the way to a Mobility Data Space
The Mobility Data Space offers data providers sovereignty over their traffic and mobility data as well as security along the processing and value chain. This makes it possible to utilize sensitive mobility data for the first time. In this session, experts discuss the role and potential applications of data for mobility services. New technological approaches are shown and challenges for applicants and providers are discussed.
