Dr. Kathrin Risom
Dr. Kathrin Risom is a Senior Manager of digital Product Development and
Marketing inside of SixtX, where she focuses on designing integrated customer
experiences along all marketing and product related touchpoints. Prior to joining
Sixt, Dr. Risom worked as a research assistant and gained her PhD at the interface
of marketing and psychology. Her doctoral thesis addresses new and shared
mobility solutions and empirically investigates how business models develop and
how they affect current consumer behavior and future consumer needs.
Simultaneously, she worked as a freelancer and was involved in several consultancy
projects focusing on consumer research and usability in the context of digital
Dr. Risom is in expert in customer research and designing integrated customer
journeys and experiences. She is eager about shared mobility solutions and has
been a speaker on related topics on several international conferences.
Originally from Münster, she studied in Stockholm, Sweden, and completed her PhD
at the LMU Munich. She is an outdoor enthusiast and passionate runner and cyclist.
She loves travelling the world and experiencing other cultures, people, and food.

New mobility is connected and marked by digital applications. This significantly changes our current mobility and shapes the mobility behavior of future generations.
