Streubig began his professional career when joining the Otto Group in 1994 as
IT coordinator and project manager in the sales department. After his positions
in the internal management consultancy and at the head of the Group's import
management, he assumed responsibility for the Otto Group's sustainability
management in 2007. For ten years, he and his team developed the strategic
sustainability management of the Hamburg-based family business and rolled out
the corresponding programs in the Group. In 2014, the systematic sustainability
management approach 'impACT', which has since been developed, was awarded the
CSR Prize of the German government.
2017, Andreas Streubig took over as Director Global Sustainability at HUGO BOSS
in Metzingen and has been responsible for the further development and
implementation of all sustainability activities at HUGO BOSS ever since. Over
the years he had served in several functions for not-for-profit organizations
like Social Accountability International (SAI) and Textile Exchange (TE).
Currently he is active as member of the advisory board' Erfolg mit Anstand' of
the Club of Hamburg Foundation.
