Conor Taylor is a London based designer and the creator of Foresso, the timber terrazzo that repurposes waste timber into an innovative new composite material. It combines process led design with classic terrazzo aesthetics while being more sustainable than its traditional stone counterpart. After over two years in development Foresso is now being produced in partnership with British surface and materials manufacturer Solomon & Wu. In this lecture Conor will be talking about the importance of material provenance, the inspiration behind The London Collection, and the difficulties and breakthroughs in designing new manufacturing processes.
